The closure, effective on April 8th, impacts the Hazardous Waste disposal facility only. The Sarno Road landfill and transfer station remains open and operational. Trash & recycling collection service for Palm Bay residents will not be interrupted due to the closure of the Hazardous Waste facility.

Citizens should continue to call 911 when faced with an emergency situation. Emergency response services have not changed due to COVID-19; however, first responders must take preventative measures to protect themselves while responding to calls.

Effective immediately, all City of Palm Bay playgrounds and the McGriff Park skatepark will be closed to public access until further notice. The temporary closures are intended to protect the health of the citizens of Palm Bay by reducing the chance of COVID-19 exposure.
