  • PBUD Chosen Nationally for EPA Resource Guide Case Study -Utilities are using resources such as Lean and Six Sigma along with the Effective Utility Management framework to improve operations and meet the challenges of aging infrastructure and workforce, dwindling resources, and increasing regulations. Palm Bay Utilities' efforts toward improved efficiency were recently highlighted in the EPA's Resource Guide to Effective Utility Management and Lean [PDF].
