Registration for Fall 2 Session will be Held
Saturday, September 8 from 8 to 10 AM for September 10 to October 4 Sessions



Registration is held at Palm Bay Aquatic Center. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 8am on the registration date. We highly suggest arriving early to get in line. Classes do fill up quickly. Please have an idea of what class you want to register for in advance.


FALL2  September 10 - October 4 ~ Registration Date: Saturday, September 8th 8-10 am
Fall2 morning sessions are held two times a week for 4 weeks for a total of 8 lessons. Lessons are held Tuesday & Thursday.  Fall 2 evening sessions are held two times a week for 4 weeks for a total of 8 lessons.  Lessons are held Monday & Wednesday.

Monday & Wednesday Session
4:45-5:25 PM: Level 1 & 2
5:30-6:00 PM: Preschool, Parent/tot
6:05-6:45 PM: Level 1, 2, 3
6:50-7:20 PM: Preschool

Tuesday & Thursday Session
10:40-11:10 AM: Preschool (beginner)
11:15-11:45 AM: Parent/tot, Preschool (intermediate)


Parent/Tot and Preschool: $40

Levels 1 - Adult: $50

Discounts are available for children who are qualified for Free/Reduced lunch at school or EBT/Food Stamps.  In order to get the reduced rates you must bring the following items to registration:

  1. Photo Identification
  2. Most recent EBT/Food Stamp eligibility letter from Florida  Department of Children and Family Services. = 50% discount
  3. Direct Certification Notification letter of Free/Reduced Lunch from the Brevard County School Board (on official school letter head). = 25% discount

Please note, if documentation is incomplete we cannot enroll your child into the lessons at the reduced rate. Only one financial discount will be given.

Parent/Tot:  (Ages 6  to 36 months)
Orientation in and under the water for parent and child provides a great foundation for the future. Adult participation is required.

Preschool: (Ages 3 to 5 years)
Participants will learn breath control, buoyancy, propulsion, and personal safety. Program is broken into groups that are age and skill appropriate.

Preschool 1/ Starfish: Children with little or no  exposure to water who may be timid or fearful.

Preschool 2/ Turtle: Children with some experience. Able to float on back and stomach with face in water. Will push of wall and glide to instructor.

Preschool 3/ Penguin: Children with swimming skills and no fear.

Level 1: Intro to Water Safety (Ages 6+)
Breath control, gliding and kicking are taught.  EXIT REQUIREMENTS: Enter and exit water independently, perform 5 bobs, glide on front then roll to back for 5 seconds, recover to vertical position, safely exit water.

Level 2: Fundamental Skills (Ages 6+)
Breath control, floating, kicking and arm strokes.  EXIT REQUIREMENTS: Step into chest deep water, push off bottom, move into a treading/floating position for 15 seconds, swim using combined arm/leg action on front for  5 body lengths, roll to back, float for 15 seconds, roll to front swimming 5 body lengths, recover to vertical.

LEVEL 3: Stroke Development (Ages 6+)
Treading water, rotary breathing, diving, stroke kicks on front, front crawl, elementary backstroke and personal   water safety skills.  EXIT REQUIREMENTS: Jump into deep water, recover, tread/float for 1 minute, rotate, level off, swim front crawl or elementary backstroke 25 yards and exit.

LEVEL 4: Stroke Improvement (Ages 6+)
Improve on all strokes, diving, underwater swimming and water safety.
EXIT REQUIREMENTS: Feet first entry into deep water, front crawl/elementary backstroke 25 yards, breaststroke/back crawl 15 yards, swim underwater 3-5 body lengths with ease and exit water.

Adult Beginner: (Ages 16 & Up)
This course is for adults who are beginning swimmers or afraid of the water.  This is geared toward those who would like to become more comfortable in the water.  An instructor will be in the water with this group.  It is never too late to learn!

Adult Advanced: (Ages 16 & Up)
This course is for those who feel comfortable in water, and are able to swim a minimum of 25 yards (one length of the pool).  Instructors will assist in refining skills to be more efficient in the water as well as provide pointers as to how to have a quality swimming workout!  This is great for those who swim for fitness all the way to competitive swimmers (Masters swimming/triathletes).
