The Human Resources Department serves as an employee advocate and a strategic business partner to the City Manager and operations in helping meet the City’s Strategic Plan Goals as they relate to employees, culture and productivity. We support city departments in minimizing employee risk and maximizing employee productivity through recruiting, retention, benefits administration, performance management, total compensation, employee and bargaining-unit relations, and training and development. 

The Human Resources Department consists of 10 full-time, energetic employees who are committed to delivering WOW customer service to our external and internal customers. We work inter-mutually with other departments to actualize our vision statement, which is To lead the way as an innovative strategic partner within the organization by embracing and driving change while setting the standard in providing fair, consistent and accountable customer service.’  To this end, we strive to challenge the traditional ways of conducting business and to be the best organization we can be.
