The Ted Whitlock Community Center currently offers programs for all ages. The community center is located at 1951 Malabar Road NW, inside Fred Poppe Regional Park.  There is plenty of free parking. For more information call (321) 952-3231 or email us.

All classes are held at the Ted Whitlock Community Center unless otherwise noted. Please check the class schedule for days and times. All classes are subject to change without notice.


Jujutsu: Mushinoto Ryu Jujutsu is a modern American system of Japanese Jujutsu, combining several Martial Art forms and traditional Japanese training methods. Training is available to anyone capable and ready to learn. Classes are held at Ted Whitlock Community Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 PM to 7:15 PM for the mixed class and 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM for the advanced class, as well as on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM for the mixed class and 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM for the advanced class. Youth Dance: Youth Dance with Nicole Cote School of Dance is on Mondays at Ted Whitlock Community Center (a separate class is available on Tuesdays at Tony Rosa Community Center). Ages 3 to 5 will learn tap, ballet and hip hop from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM and ages 6 and up will learn jazz, ballet and hip hop from 5:15 PM to 6 PM. The cost is $37 for the first family member per 4 weeks, $35 for the second sibling and $33 for any additional siblings. Nicole Cote School of dance provides professional dance education to every dancer while helping them understand and love the art of dance.  We create a strong foundation for your child to learn and grow while developing self-esteem and dance skills in a fun and loving atmosphere.  Each class is a 45 minute combination class for beginners to teaching the fundamentals of tap, ballet, Jazz, and hip hop.  Each class will be taught on a graded curriculum while building up strong motor skills with non stop energy building exercises.
