  • 2020 Mayor's Ball
Message from the Mayor

As Mayor of Palm Bay, one of my favorite annual traditions is the Mayor’s Ball fundraising event. It is an opportunity to come together for a festive evening in support of a local charity. Over the years we have raised money for wonderful organizations doing great work in our community, but I am especially excited to announce that my final Mayor’s Ball will benefit the Palm Bay Firefighter’s Community Benevolent.

Mark your calendars for February 22, 2020 at 6pm at the Hilton Rialto. Tickets are now available, and we are accepting sponsorships for the event. This year, we will be partying Big Easy-style with a Mardi Gras celebration, so dress to impress and be ready for a night of fun and fundraising.

Let the good times roll for a good cause and join me at the 2020 Mayor’s Ball!

Mayor William Capote

About the Benevolent

Benevolent LogoFormed in 2011, the Palm Bay Firefighter's Community Benevolent, Inc is an authorized IRS 501 (c)(3) corporation that was created to not only assist firefighters and their families, but the general community as well. The organization participates in many events throughout the community and works hard to help numerous organizations with the donations receive.

Palm Bay Firefighter’s Community Benevolent is involved in several events throughout the year such as the annual Space Coast Children's Hunger Project, an event held to benefit hungry school-age children; our annual Breast Cancer Awareness shirt sale which has raised thousands of dollars for local cancer organizations and patients; and the newly-established Scholarship Program to honor Jeff Burgin, one of our own that we lost. The organization also previously participated in the Polar Plunge event that brought in thousands of dollars to benefit the Florida Special Olympics.

The Benevolent continues to help countless organizations and people throughout the community. This would not be possible without the kind and generous donations from you the public, which is why we hope that you will consider supporting the Palm Bay Firefighter’s Community Benevolent at 2020 Palm Bay Mayor’s Ball.
