City of Palm Bay Facilities Reopen to the Public

The City of Palm Bay has reopened City facilities to the public with the exception of the Palm Bay Senior Center, Ted Whitlock Community Center, Tony Rosa Community Center, and the Margaret Hames Nature Center.

To limit the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the number of person-to-person interactions, the City will continue to facilitate remote and contactless service options. Citizens are encouraged to continue utilizing the City’s online service options and contacting staff by telephone or email whenever possible.

Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Suspends On-Site Alcohol Consumption at Bars, Pubs, and Nightclubs

Effective Friday, June 26th, 2020, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation ordered the suspension of on-premises consumption of alcohol at bars, pubs, nightclubs, and other establishments who derive more than 50% of gross revenue from the sale of alcoholic beverages. These vendors may continue to sell alcoholic beverages in sealed containers for consumption off the premises in accordance with Executive Order 20-71.

Restaurants and other vendors who are licensed as public food establishments may continue to operate for on-premises consumption of food and beverages at tables in accordance with Executive Order 20-139, as long as these vendors derive 50% or less of gross income from the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption.
