On Monday, July 6th, 2020, Brevard County will begin work to replace a failed culvert underneath Malabar Road with a new 6’x8’ concrete box culvert. The project will require a full closure of Malabar Road just east of Championship Circle near the entrance to Fred Poppe Regional Park. The closure will begin July 6th and is anticipated to last for 6 to 8 weeks.

During the closure, Malabar Road between the St. Johns Heritage Parkway and Jupiter Boulevard will be limited to local traffic only. All other traffic will be routed to a detour to NW Pace Drive for east-west travel between the St. Johns Heritage Parkway and Jupiter Boulevard. Maintenance of traffic signage will be in place for the duration of the closure.
