Waste Management Asking Residents to Schedule Pick-up for Yard Waste Piles Due to High Volume

Post Date:05/07/2020 5:16 PM

Waste Management has advised the City of Palm Bay that they are currently collecting an extraordinary volume of curbside yard waste, most likely as a result of continued stay-at-home guidance related to COVID-19. Clam yard waste collection is running up to several days behind in many areas.

To better serve Palm Bay residents, Waste Management strongly encourages residents to contact WM to schedule collection for large, loose yard waste piles, which requires a specific collection truck. Regularly scheduled weekly yard waste collection is only for containerized yard waste and small piles. Residents can connect with Waste Management in a variety of ways:

Phone: (321) 723-4455
Email: palmbayservice@wm.com
Customer Service Chat: https://www.wm.com/us/en/support

Volumes continue to be extremely high across all residential waste streams, including bulky waste. If residents are not serviced for carted garbage or recycling on their designated service day, residents are asked to please leave their carts curbside for service first thing the following morning. Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.
