Effective October 8, 2019

Post Date:10/08/2019

EFFECTIVE October 8, 2019

TO:  Residents of Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida, located at the following addresses:

  • 466-588 Fitchburg St SW

The following address has been added:

  • 2496 Oasis Ave SW

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019 water service to utilities customers at the above-mentioned addresses will be shut down due to work being completed by contractor.  Service to these areas will be shut down at approximately 8:00 a.m. and will be restored when work is complete.

Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.  A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  Bottled water may be used as an alternative.

This “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.  Affected customers will be notified immediately once the boil water notice has been lifted.
