Palm Bay Fire Rescue Wins 1st Place Team in Hometown Heroes 5K

Palm Bay Fire Rescue members competed in the 1st Annual Hometown Heroes 5K race on May 19, 2019. The team wore gear for the entirety of the race... and received 1ST PLACE TEAM Award! Congrats, this is an awesome achievement!

About Hometown Heros 5K Run/Walk

This event is dedicated to the men and women who serve in the military, those who served and our local first responders (Police, Fire Fighters, Doctors, Nurses and Emergency Medical Services).  Portion of the proceeds will benefit several local and national charities to include:  AM Vets, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, American Cancer Society and Heritage High School Athletics.
