Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Offering Summer Day Camps

The Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Department will host Summer Fun Camps at two locations this summer.  Day camps will be offered at the Ted Whitlock Community Center, 1951 Malabar Rd NW and the Tony Rosa Community Center, 1502 Port Malabar Blvd NE from June 3 through August 9.  Camp is for children ages 6 to 12.  The cost is $100 for the week or $30 per day. Additional fees apply for field trips and weekly specials.  Discounts are available for those who qualify.  Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.   Camp activities include sports, games, crafts, outdoor play, field trips, guest speakers, and more.

The Tony Rosa Community Center will also be offering Teen Day Camp from June 3 through August 2.  Teen camp is for children ages 12 to 15.  The cost is $100 per week plus the $50 for field trips.  Discounts are available for those who qualify. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, but may vary depending on the daily field trip.  Some trips include Fun Spot, Paintball, Bowling, Rapids Water Park, Daytona Lagoon, Kennedy Space Center, movies, the beach, Fun Town, Andretti, the mall, and more.
