PARTIAL RESCISSION of Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued for Area from Minton East to I-95, Between the C-74 and C-1 Canals

A PARTIAL RESCISSION HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE MARCH 4, 2019 PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescission

To residents of Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida, located in the following area:

Minton Road east to I-95, between the C-74 canal (Narragansett Street) to the north and the C-75 canal (Hyder Street) to the south

 

The March 4, 2019 Precautionary Boil Water Notice is hereby rescinded for the above mentioned area following the determination that water pressures did not drop below the minimum accepted threshold. Palm Bay Utilities Department will continue to monitor system pressures remotely, and in the field, to monitor for any possible pressure changes in the system.

Precautionary Boil Water Notice Continuance

To residents of Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida, located in the following area:

Minton Road east to I-95, between the C-75 canal (Peckham Street/Haftez Street) to the north and the C-1 canal ((Hurst Road/Hunan Street) to the south

 

The area between the C-75 Canal (Peckham Street/Haftez Street) to the north and the C-1 Canal (Hurst Road/Hunan Street) to the south will remain under a precautionary boil water notice until samples can be pulled, tested, and reviewed, and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. Please continue to boil water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may be used as an alternative.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. Affected customers will be notified once a rescission has been issued and the boil water notice has been lifted.
