Environmental Policy

The Environmental Policy is the keystone of the Utilities Department’s EMS as it documents our commitment to continual improvement,  prevention of pollution and compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and other requirements. 

Continual improvement means that the Utilities Department actively participates in ongoing performance enhancement by conducting internal audits, management reviews, data analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

The City of Palm Bay has also developed a Sustainability Master Plan which outlines ways that Palm Bay, through its government, residents and businesses will promote a sustainable stewardship of its resources. The Plan will guide the City as we move forward towards a future based upon a commitment to the environment, economic health and quality of life for our residents.
