PBUD Named As Finalist For Best Practices Award

On June 9, 2009, Palm Bay Utilities will join other organizations from around the State at the Annual Sustainable Florida Best Practices Award luncheon.  PBUD has been named one of three finalists in the partnership category for this award.  The 118 employees of the Utilities Department worked together to successfully implement an ISO 14001:2004 certified Environmental Management System known as GreenWay to effectively address environmental impacts and initiate energy saving programs within the organization.
