An article, highlighting how the City of Palm Bay Public Works Department annually kicks off National Public Works Week, written by our very own Jim Proce, Director of the Public Works Department, has been nationally recognized by The American Public Works Association as a best practice in Public Works.  Jim's article appeared in the April 2008 APWA Reporter.

The City of Palm Bay Public Works Department will kick off National Public Works Week on Saturday, May 17, 2008 with a Celebration for the Community at City Hall from 10:00am to 2:00pm.  There will be free food, lots of fun, games, prizes and entertainment.  There will be displays of Public Works’ heavy equipment, and picture taking opportunities with your child “in the driver’s seat”.  Bring the whole family and let Public Works show you what they do, and also show you how much they appreciate you!!
