S.O.A.R. Unit pilots

The S.O.A.R. Unit currently consists of five pilots. Most S.O.A.R. members hold at least a current Light-Sport Pilot certification from the FAA.  Corporal Phil Erwin is the training officer for the S.O.A.R. Unit and is a certified instrument rated flight Instructor.  The PPC can carry a pilot and one passenger, who can act as an observer in order to maximize the application of the aircraft.
