Uniform patrol

The Uniform Patrol Division is our largest division and is made up of most first responders, including the telecommunicators who answer the telephone calls for service requests. 

Uniformed patrol officers, K-9 officers, and motorcycle officers are some of the functions assigned to this area.

Ride-Along Program

The Department provides a Ride-Along Program for civilians and potential employees to allow them greater insight into the police profession and the workings of this Department.  Understanding leads to positive relationships between the public and the police.

To participate in this program, submit the Ride-Along Form to the Department for processing.  The Uniform Services Division Secretary will contact candidates of their initial acceptance or rejection.
