Palm Bay Goes for 'Playful City USA' Designation
Palm Bay has so many recreational opportunities available due to it's incredible location on the Space Coast, it just makes sense. KaBoom! Is a national non-profit that empowers communities to build playgrounds, with the goal of a great place to play within walking distance of every child in America.
Kids' Crafts In The Park
Next Event: July 19th. Kids' Crafts in the Park is held the third Saturday of the month from 10am - 1pm at various parks throughout Palm Bay. This program will give the little ones ages 2 - 12 a chance to burn some creative energy while meeting new friends and checking out the different parks! Cost is only $3. Liberty Park , Inspiration Park and City Hall Free Wi-Fi Hot Spots
A partnership between Palm Bay's Parks and Recreation and the Information and Innovation Department has produced the City's first Park with free Wi-Fi access so you can check all the news, sports and weather while you enjoy watching your teams play, or just relaxing by one of the 33 new oak trees that were just planted at Liberty Park!
The Game Room
Over 100 people attended the opening of The Game Room at the Palm Bay Community Center. The Game Room is now open Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30pm - 8:30pm, it's free for Community Center members and only $4.00 for non- members. A great place to hang out, and there are games for all ages, from pool to chess to video games including the Nintendo Wii. Call (321) 952-3443 for more information.
