Achieving National Accreditation on Friday, February 16, 2007 the Palm Bay Parks and Recreation Department looks forward to an exceptional year serving the Citizens of Palm Bay.

Palm Bay Parks and Recreation is now one of only 67 agencies nationwide to be fully accredited by CAPRA, the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies.  Palm Bay Parks and Recreation is the first Department in the City to achieve accreditation.

Recently Palm Bay Parks and Recreation was recognized for this  achievement by both the Florida State Legislature and the Brevard County Commission. Being accredited and maintaining accreditation means that the park patrons will receive the highest level of professional service, and the best experience possible in their Parks.
