City of Palm Bay News Release

Wireless Internet Access at City Hall

Posted: 04/10/08

Wireless Internet access is now available from the City Hall government complex, allowing citizens to stay connected during government meetings, and other civic events taking place. The free Wi-Fi access is available 24 hours a day and will be available at the monthly Farmers Market to be held on Saturday, April 12 at the City Hall grounds. The addition of the “hot-spot” brings the City closer to a total wireless network community that will eventually include most City government facilities. “We hope to allow access at more of our locations,” said Mike Maier, who manages the Information and Innovations Department for the City of Palm Bay. “It’s good for business and it’s good for our citizens.”
