Small Business technical assistance program
The Small Business Technical Assistance Program offers 40 consecutive weekly seminars presented on Tuesday evenings, monthly workshops/one-on-one assistance and quarterly roundtables all for a fee of $50/month or $550 annually. The seminars include such topics as business planning, advertising, tax reporting/filing, target marketing, and many more. In addition to the 40 weekly seminars, in-depth monthly workshops are held that focus on individual topics such as developing a business plan. On a quarterly basis, roundtables will be held that will present panels of experts from the business community. One such panel included professionals from the banking industry who discussed what it takes to secure a business loan. The panelists are also available for questions and discussions by the audience.
