 Trash Bash 2017!

It’s that time of year again! Keep Brevard Beautiful’s 36th annual Trash Bash is coming up this spring, and we need your help to make it a huge success. As part of the Great American Cleanup, KBB’s Trash Bash partners each year with local cities to help organize volunteers and remove trash from their areas. To get involved, contact Kaylene Wheeler at Kaylene.Wheeler@palmbayflorida.org.

Our main registration location will be at City Hall, starting at 8:00 a.m. come check in, grab supplies and head out into the City.  Around noon come on back to City Hall to log your cleanup effort and recieve a FREE T-Shirt.

Rain Barrel Workshops

Rain barrels help to reduce your irrigation costs and lowers the impacts of stormwater on our fragile waterways. Help conserve water, reduce stormwater runoff and recharge the aquifer by keeping rain on your property! The cost to cover supplies of your rain barrel is $45.00. Pre-registration is required as the workshop is strictly limited to 30 participants, and requires a minimum of 5.

IMG_3708Rain gardens are a great alternative to help to reduce your impacts of stormwater pollution on our fragile waterways. Reduce stormwater runoff and recharge the aquifer by keeping rain on your property and get a stormwater credit to boot! Pre-registration is required as the workshop is strictly limited to 30 participants, and requires a minimum of 5.

FDEP Stormwater Erosion and Sedimentation

Control Inspector Training and Certification

FREE 2 day program to obtain state certification and continuing education from FDEP. All course materials will be provided. Class is strictly limited to 50 participants and registration is required!
