Waste Management Holiday Schedule

Garbage Collection for Christmas Day

In observance of the Christmas Day holiday there will be NO garbage, recycling or yard waste collection on Monday, December 25.

City of Palm Bay Monday customers will be serviced on Saturday, December 23. Please have your cart curbside by 6:00 a.m. the day of service.

Garbage Collection Schedules After Hurricane Irma

Garbage collection will include normal household garbage, recycling and containerized yard waste only, NOT storm debris.

Bulk Waste Pick-Up

Waste Management will begin servicing bulk pick-up, white goods, and e-waste on Monday, October 9th.  Residents must request pick-up of white goods, tires and e-waste.  These are on-call services because of the way Waste Management is required by law to dispose of these items.  To request pick-ups, please contact Waste Management at or 321.723.4455.

Please remember that Waste Management will not pickup fencing, windows, sheet rock and similar items that could be related to storm debris.

Disaster Debris Removal

Storm debris collection is set to begin September 18, 2017. Please separate your debris and place at the edge of your property before the curb safely away from sidewalks, ditches, utility poles and mail boxes. Do not place debris near a water meter vault, fire hydrant or any other above-ground utility. Only sorted debris piles placed on the public right-of-way will be eligible for collection until further notice.

The City of Palm Bay transitioned to an automated cart program on October 1, 2010. Each residential customer receives a 64-gallon cart for garbage (teal lid) and one 64-gallon cart for single stream recycling (yellow lid). Garbage, recycling and yard waste will be collected once weekly as part of your regular collection service. In alignment with the established statewide recycling goal of 75% by the year 2020, the City of Palm Bay in partnership with Waste Management strive to reduce the amount of household waste by recycling.  However, residential customers can rent an additional cart by contacting Customer Service for $0.50 per month per cart.
