The City of Palm Bay has 30 parks offering a variety of amenities to appeal to all ages. Two fully handicap accessible parks, an urban skateboarding park, cyclocross park, dog friendly parks, tennis courts, basketball courts, a regulation size football field, boat launches, fishing piers, picnic pavilions, restrooms and Wi-Fi at selected parks.
Palm Bay offers passive parks featuring nature trails, access to Turkey Creek and the Indian River Lagoon, and boardwalks through lush hammocks. Biking paths create a network of trails that traverse the scrub and forest for a unique outdoor experience that draws cyclists from all over Central Florida.
Our extreme sport parks require users to sign a waiver to be kept on file with the City of Palm Bay. The completed and notarized waiver must be returned to the Parks and Recreation Department at 1150 DeGroodt Rd SW or the Tony Rosa Community Center, 1502 Port Malabar Blvd NE to receive a free Park ID.
