Telemundo's #1 Boxing Series, Boxeo Telemundo, kicks off on Feb 24th from Palm Bay, Florida.

Showdown will feature the WBO Latin Jr Bantamweight Tile fight, Ricardo "Meserito" Rodriguez vs. Carlos "Kid" Narvaez. Plus Olympic prospects Antonio Vargas and Teofimo Lopez.

Doors open at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available at the Tony Rosa Community Center and the Ted Whitlock Community Center. Ringside $40, general admission $20.

Strawberry Festival

March 25 & 26

The Daily Bread Strawberry Festival is coming to Palm Bay March 25 & 26.  The event will be held on the Palm Bay Campus of Eastern Florida State College.  The event will feature a Food Court serving concession foods plus all things strawberry -- including chocolate dipped strawberries, flats of strawberries, strawberry shortcake, smoothies and more.  There will also be a Kids Zone with bounce houses, activities, and games for the youngsters, including a ride-on train.  There will be lots of Arts & Crafts tables with handicrafts of all types to be displayed and sold.

On Saturday there will be an Open Car & Bike Show.  On Sunday there will be a 5K Fun Run.  Entertainment will be provided by Timmy Vee.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the mission of Daily Bread, Inc., Food for Human Dignity: ensuring everyone has access to the food and social services necessary to become self-sufficient.
