The Planning and Zoning Board/Local Planning Agency conducts hearings and makes recommendations to City Council in regards to requests for proposed changes in the land development regulations (rezoning, conditional uses), proposed subdivisions, and revisions to the comprehensive plan. Requires filing of Statement of Financial Interests with Brevard County Supervisor of Elections. Board consists of seven (7) residents of the City of at least one (1) year; each Council seat shall appoint one (1) member and the remaining two (2) members' positions shall be considered at-large. Board consists also of an appointee by the Brevard County School Board and an appointee by the Patrick Air Force Base. More
