Fire Rescue Assists 11 Families and 26 Children
Palm Bay Fire Rescue is pleased to announce we were able to assist 11 familes and 26 children during the 2007 Christmas season.
A number of organizations collected toys, and held special events to assist the Department in this endeavor.
Tapps Food and Drink - owners Richard and Karen Hayes held a Toy Drive with a
special night of music and food. The following musicians donated their time to participate in this event:
FF Willie Cordeau
FF Bob Youhas
Matt Atkins Band
Sammy Hill, drummer
Michael Turcotte, Santa
TJ Martin, pianist
These organizations also held toy drives:
Fountainhead Memorial Park
Palm Bay High School
Palm Bay Parks and Rec
And last but not least, the $$ Tree on Malabar Road made a very generous donation of toys.
