What We Do
The Purchasing and Contracts Division provides purchasing services to user departments, while ensuring that the City maximizes its return and is in compliance with legal requirements. The Purchasing & Contracts Division's primary responsibility is for the acquisition of goods, services, annual contracts, constrution projects and professional services that are essential to citywide operations.
The City's purchasing authority is centralized through the Purchasing & Contracts Division, with the responsibility of smaller dollar pricing research delegated to the individual user department level. All contracts and purchase orders are issued through the Purchasing & Contracts Division and approved by the Purchasing Manager.
