Small Business Assistance
United States Small Business Development Center of Eastern Florida State College (SBDC)
The SBDC at Eastern Florida State College provides existing and prospective entrepreneurs with high-quality management counseling, entrepreneurial training, and information access and transfer - enabling them to maximize their businesses' growth, competitiveness and profitability within their trading area. The SBDC at Eastern Florida State College is a subcenter of the SBDC at University of Central Florida. The SBDC at UCF maintains its regional headquarters in Orlando and operates six full-service sub-centers. The SBDC at UCF serves an eight county area that includes Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia counties. The SBDC at Eastern Florida State College is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U. S. SBA.
Women’s Business Center (WBC)
Provides training, counseling, mentoring and technical assistance targeting men and women entrepreneurs and small businesses in Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie counties and the Central Florida area.
The Women's Business Center offers targeted, highly-effective training to Start-up businesses and Second-stage growth-oriented companies, that were designed to deliver increased revenue generation, targeted market penetration, expanded business relationships, access to critical resources and increased financial expertise. How to get started:
Before the VBOC can provide assistance, the Small Business Administration requires all clients to complete the Electronic Request for Conseling (ERFC) form. This ERFC form will act as our Confidentiality and Code of Conduct Agreements. All client information is held in strict confidence. After submitting the ERFC successfully, a Certified Business Analyst from our office will contact you as soon as we are able to conduct an initial assessment and get you started in the process.Electronic Request for Counseling (EFRC)
