Ask any local and they will likely tell you that Palm Bay is probably Central Florida's best kept secret; a hidden gem rich with natural resources enjoyed by those who have discovered all this area provides.  You will see it as you drive along the scenic highway running along the Indian River Lagoon.  This 4-mile stretch is the gateway to the city and provides residents and visitors with surprises, including elegant dining, scenic waterfront views, and unique shopping experiences.

Sports and outdoor enthusiasts relish in the endless summers here where they can enjoy the championship caliber golf courses, off-road cycling, running and nature trails that become giant playgrounds for young and old.  Palm Bay is also known as the "bass fishing capital of the world" with its close proximity to the St. John's River and more than 25,000 acres of new wetlands about to become open for public access.  The richness of this resource caught the attention of outdoor recreational giant Bass Pro Shops which selected Palm Bay as home for it's newest store, the  "Stick Marsh Outpost".

Palm Bay is highly regarded for its numerous and diverse parks sporting themes from cyclocross and paintball wars to nature preserves and kayaking through the pristine waters of the Turkey Creek Sanctuary. Visit the docks of the “Captain’s House” and get a closer look at the manatee that like to linger close to the shore line.

Palm Bay is also rich in culture and diversity where annual events like the Puerto Rican Day Parade and Viva Brevard and  Carnival Brazil celebrates the community’s Hispanic culture, its Latin flavor and traditions. BCASCA is an organization which brings together people of Caribbean origin residing in Brevard County and enhances their interactions with other groups through sports, social & cultural activities, education, community service, and political engagement. http://www.bcascafl.com/
