Sports and outdoor enthusiasts relish in the endless summers here where they can enjoy the championship caliber golf courses, off-road cycling, running and nature trails that become giant playgrounds for young and old.  Palm Bay is also known as the "bass fishing capital of the world" with its close proximity to the St. John's River and more than 25,000 acres of new wetlands about to become open for public access.  The richness of this resource caught the attention of outdoor recreational giant Bass Pro Shops which selected Palm Bay as home for it's newest store, the  "Stick Marsh Outpost".

Palm Bay is highly regarded for its numerous and diverse parks sporting themes from cyclocross and paintball wars to nature preserves and kayaking through the pristine waters of the Turkey Creek Sanctuary. Visit the docks of the “Captain’s House” and get a closer look at the manatee that like to linger close to the shore line.

 The city also hosts an annual 4th of July event that draws tens of thousands of friends and neighbors together for a celebration of American Independence.  And, what could be more American than baseball? We are a just a short twenty minute drive from the Major League Baseball spring training home of the Washington Nationals.  During the summer months it becomes home of the Milwaukee Brewers minor league franchise Brevard County Manatees. 

Our A-Rated Schools including magnet and charter schools offer quality K-12 education.  Palm Bay is also home to the Eastern Florida State College where students have access to high quality technical education and a variety of two and four year degree programs.
