PalmStat
In December 2005, the City of Palm Bay implemented a new accountability management system called “PalmStat.” Modeled after the City of Baltimore’s “CitiStat” system, it is a collaborative effort by senior managers and key employees to improve government performance and service delivery through the review of statistical information and the development of improvement strategies. The PalmStat process is intended to facilitate timely and accurate information reporting throughout the City on a monthly basis, with a focus on increasing employee productivity and more effectively deploying resources, thereby reducing the cost of government.
As the program develops, this page will be used to post valuable information and updates on the benefits of PalmStat and the ways that it is helping City staff seek continuous improvement in service to our citizens.
