code of ordinances

The City contracts with American Legal Publishing (ALP) Company to codify its ordinances into a book called the City of Palm Bay Code of Ordinances.  ALP upgrades the Code upon submission of ordinances from the City Clerk’s Office and maintains the data in a searchable format on its Web site.

Code of Ordinances, Amendments:

Ordinances that have been enacted, but are pending for codification, have been arranged by Chapter and Section numbers for viewing by the public.  These amendments should be reviewed in conjunction with the Code of Ordinances to determine if the information of interest to the viewer in the Code of Ordinances has been revised.

Ordinances:

All ordinances that are enacted by the City Council are not codified.  Only those ordinances establishing regulations of a general, permanent nature, and enforceable as local laws are codified in the Code of Ordinances.  The majority of ordinances that are not codified relate to land use.  All ordinances enacted over the past year can be viewed here.
