Process for Filling Vacancies:
The process for filling vacancies or terms expiring is as follows:
- 30 day solicitation period for the receipt of applications from interested parties
- Vacancies or terms expiring announced at two regular Council meetings
- Applications submitted to Council for appointment(s). Appointments are for the remainder of the unexpired term or the full term, accordingly.
Applications are available online or from the Office of the City Clerk and accepted only within the 30 days solicitation period of a vacancy or term expiring. Return completed applications to the Office of the City Clerk.
Current vacancies or terms expiring on City boards are listed below:
One (1) vacancy on the Utilities Advisory Board (represents individual who has special talents, credentials or experience which will be useful in the review and recommendation of utilities; resident and/or current customer of the city's utility system).

Three (3) vacancies on the Youth Advisory Board (represents students advisory members in grade 9-12).

One (1) vacancy on the Building and Construction Adviosry Committee (represents 'general contractor' position).
Application Deadline: June 12, 2013 |
One (1) term expiring on the Community Development Advisory Board (represents 'resident of the city' position).
Application Deadline: May 29, 2013 |
Three (3) terms expiring on the Youth Advisory Board (represents thirty (30) years or older adult advisory members).
Application Deadline: May 29, 2013 |
