Process for Filling Vacancies:

The process for filling vacancies or terms expiring is as follows:

• 30 day solicitation period for the receipt of applications from interested parties

• Vacancies or terms expiring announced at two regular Council meetings

• Applications submitted to Council for appointment(s).  Appointments are for the remainder of the unexpired term or the full term, accordingly.

Applications are available online or from the Office of the City Clerk and accepted only within the 30 days solicitation period of a vacancy or term expiring.  Return completed applications to the Office of the City Clerk. 

Current vacancies or terms expiring on City boards are listed below:

Two (2) vacancies on the Board of Adjustments and Appeals (represents 'architect' and 'fire safety').

Application Deadline: Until Filled

 

One (1) vacancy on the Community Development Advisory Board (represents 'home building').

Application Deadline: Until Filled

Two (2) vacancies on the Building and Construction Advisory Committee (represents 'general contractor' and 'residential contractor' positions).

Application Deadline: Until Filled
