Economic Development Task Force
Function:
Provides the City Council with suggestions, recommendations, and methods to develop and stimulate the economic growth and development within the City.
Membership Requirements:

5 - appointed by City Council; must be a sole proprietor, chief executive officer (CEO), chief administrative officer (CAO), or deputy or assistant of a CEO/CAO from industrial, commercial, financial, educational, and service institutions that do or can have an affect on the economic development of the mission and tasks detailed in this subchapter. Reside or be engaged in business, which means owning a business or practicing a profession, within the City.
- 1 - President of a homeowner's association
- 7 - Selected by each of the following organizations:
- Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce;
- Melbourne/Palm Bay Area Chamber of Commerce;
- Economic Development Commission of Florida's Space Coast;
- Tourist Development Council of Brevard County;
- Brevard Workforce Development Board;
- Enterprise Florida;
- Brevard Community College.
Maximum Number of Members:
Thirteen (13)

3 Years

City Manager's Office Conference Room, City Hall, 2nd Floor, 120 Malabar Road, SE, Palm Bay
Meeting Day/Time:
4th Tuesday of each month, 3:30 p.m.
