Facade & Exterior Building Rehabilitation grants

Commercial & Industrial Facade Grant

The purpose of the Bayfront Matching Commercial Industrial Facade and Rehabilitation Reimbursement Grant Program is to encourage the exterior rehabilitation, renovation, and preservation of existing commercial and industrial buildings in the Bayfront Community Redevelopment District by offering financial assistance to property owners to renovate their buildings. The Bayfront Matching Commercial and Industrial Facade and Rehabilitation Reimbursement Grant program can provide up to a 50% of eligible exterior renovation costs up to a maximum of $5,000 per property.  Funds are allocated on a first come basis.

Single Family Residential Home Owner Facade Grant

This grant program provides assistance to existing single family detached residential structure property owners to encourage the exterior rehabilitation, renovation of their homes.  Eligible reimbursement items include windows, doors, awnings, porches, roofs, gutters, siding, paint, decorative fencing and landscaping.  This matching reimbursement grant will match the dollar for dollar expenditure by the homeowner up to a maximum of $5,000 for building improvements.  Landscaping improvements are limited to a maximum of $2,000.
