Police Chief Doug Muldoon
Police Chief Doug Muldoon began his career with the Palm Bay Police Department in August 1976. He was officially appointed as Police Chief on April 2, 2011. He has worked in all sections of the agency and has served on the senior staff of the department since 1983.
Police Chief Muldoon has a BA
Degree in Public Administration and is a graduate of the FBI Law Enforcement
Executive Development Seminar (52nd Session), FDLE Executive Institute Senior
Leadership Program, and the Certified Public Manager Program and Leadership
Brevard. He is also a graduate of the 153rd Session of the FBI National Academy
and served as the FBINAA Florida Chapter President in 1998, and in July 2005 was
elected to the Executive National Board of Directors.

Deputy Chief John Blackledge
Deputy Chief John Blackledge began his career with the Palm Bay Police Department in September 1980 and is currently assigned to the Uniform Services Division.
Deputy Chief John Blackledge has a BA Degree in Allied Law. He is also a FDLE Certified Legal Instructor and Lead Instructor at Brevard Community College. He is a graduate of the 193rd Session of the FBI National Academy and has completed FSU Certified Public Manager Coursework.

Major Doug potts
Major Doug Potts began his career with the Palm Bay Police Department in May 1980. He is currently assigned to the Investigations Division, which includes General Crimes, Major Case, Special Victims, Narcotics, Criminalistics, Youth Services/Gang Unit, and the Crime Suppression Unit.
Major Potts is a graduate of Southern Police Institute Career Officer Development Course.
Captain Mark Renkens
Captain Mark Renkens began his career with the Palm Bay Police Department in November 1989. He is currently assigned to the Support Services Division. This Division includes Training, Recruiting, Technical Services, Logistics, Communications, Code Compliance, Community Services (Police Athletic League, Domestic Violence Advocates, and Volunteer Program), Emergency Management, and Crossing Guards.
Captain Renkens has a Masters Degree in the Administration of Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix and is a graduate of the 212th Session of the FBI National Academy. He is also a graduate of the Senior Management Institute of Police.
Captain John resh
Captain John Resh began his career with the Palm Bay Police Department in 1990. During his tenure he has served in Patrol, Neighborhood Policing, Internal Affairs, Crime Suppression, and was a Patrol Watch Commander prior to his current assignment as the Captain of District 2. He is an FDLE State certified firearms instructor, armorer and medical instructor. This year marks Captain Resh's 20th year of continuous service to our department's SWAT Team where he has served as a team leader and sniper as well as the team’s tactical medic.
Captain Resh holds an Associate of Science degree in Public Affairs as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University. He is a graduate of the Senior Management Institute for Police and is currently completing post graduate work to become a Certified Public Manager.

Captain James Rogers
Captain James Rogers began his career with the Palm Bay Police Department in October 1987. He is currently assigned to the Uniform Services Division, District 1. During his tenure with the Department, he was a 15 year member of the SWAT team serving five of those years as the SWAT Commander. Captain Rogers has served in Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Professional Standards, Youth Services, and the Communication Center prior to being promoted to Investigations Commander.
Captain Rogers is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy and Southern Police Institute. He has an Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a Masters Degree in Political Science.
Captain Leon Terkoski
Captain Leon Terkoski began his career with the Palm Bay Police Department in December of 1986. He is currently assigned to the Uniform Services Division, District 3. During Captain Terkoski’s 24 years of service, he has served in the Patrol Division, Traffic Division, Criminal Investigations Division, Professional Standards-Internal Affairs, and Administration.
Captain Terkoski has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida and has graduated from the Southern Police Institute Career Officer Development Course, the 34th session of PERF’s Senior Management Institute for Police, and the 235th session of the FBI National Academy.
