Dawn Reid moved to Florida in 1995 from Long Island, New York. Dawn has over 30 years of customer service experience, of which 15 years were in the banking division where she worked for Citibank and Chase in their Customer Service Divisions. Dawn has been with the City of Palm Bay since 1996, starting in the Human Resources Department as a Clerk Typist/Receptionist then promoted to Utilities Customer Service Division as a Customer Service Representative, also in 1996. Dawn was promoted to the Customer Service/Administrative Services Manager in 2005. In 2012, Dawn returned to Human Resources as the Human Resources Officer. She has an Associate's and Bachelor's Degree in Communication. Dawn is also a Certified Public Manager through Florida State University and holds a Certified Labor Relations Professional (CLRP) certification.
Dawn's key functions include managing the day to day operations and budget of the Human Resources Division, all areas of employee relations matters, develops/recommends/implements training programs, reclassifications and position control updates, the volunteer program as well as assisting the Director with administration of the collective bargaining process.
