Palm Bay Fire Rescue Announces New Fire Chief

Chief HoogPalm Bay Fire Rescue is pleased to announce Leslie Robson-Hoog as the new Fire Chief for the City of Palm Bay. Chief Robson-Hoog fills the vacancy left by Chief Russell Nail, who recently resigned to seek other employment opportunities.

Chief Robson-Hoog has faithfully served for 30+ years in the Fire Service. She began her career in Cocoa Beach as a firefighter, prior to working at Brevard County Fire Rescue. During her time at the county,  Robson-Hoog was promoted up through the ranks to Assistant Chief of Strategic Programs, before retiring in February of 2014. Chief Robson-Hoog previously served as Battalion Chief for Palm Bay Fire Rescue before returning to become the new Fire Chief. Prior to this announcement, Deputy Chief Anthony Gianantonio served as interim chief following Chief Nail's resignation in April.
