Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Offers Summer Day Camp
The Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Department will host Summer Fun Camps at two locations this summer. Day camps will be offered at the Ted Whitlock Community Center, 1951 Malabar Rd NW and the Tony Rosa Community Center, 1502 Port Malabar Blvd NE from May 29 through July 28. Camp is for children ages 6 to 12. The cost is $100 for the week or $30 per day. Additional fees apply for field trips and weekly specials. Discounts are available for those who qualify. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Camp activities include sports, games, crafts, outdoor play, field trips, guest speakers, and more.
New this year, both community centers will also be offering Teen Day Camps from May 29 through July 28. Teen camp is for children ages 12 to 15. The cost is $100 per week plus the cost of daily field trips. Discounts are available for those who qualify. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, but may vary depending on the daily field trip. Some trips include Fun Spot, Paintball, bowling, Dave & Buster’s, Daytona Lagoon, and many more.
