Free Concert in the Park Saturday, May 20
The Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Department will continue their 2017 Concert in the Park series on Saturday, May 20 at Fred Poppe Regional Park, 1951 Malabar Rd. NW, in Palm Bay. The free event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. and will feature the band Positive Chaos. Positive Chaos is straight up rock and roll, with southern rock, blues, and grunge influences mixed in. They play along the lines of the Foo Fighters and Blind Melon, and feature an electric violinist as a lead for a different twist. In addition to the concert, the event will feature food trucks, games and a bounce house for kids, and vendor booths.
The Concert in the Park Series will continue on the third Saturday of each month through September. All concerts will be held at Fred Poppe Regional Park, behind the Ted Whitlock Community Center. There are air conditioned bathrooms and plenty of free parking available at the community center.
