Kinetic Art, Family Fun Day and “Green-Talks” in Palm Bay on March 25, 2017
PALM BAY, FL – On March 25th, the Art of Sustainability begins at Palm Bay City Hall, featuring massive kinetic sculptures, exciting Family Fun Day activities and “Green-Talks”. This event is Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Palm Bay City Hall from 10am to 4pm. Admission is FREE and children are welcome!
Art of Sustainability Family Fun Day on March 25th will feature:
- Performances by Heather Henson’s Ibex Puppetry, family fun crafts and activities, interactive exhibitions, kite flying, food trucks, free face painting, and massive kinetic sculptures towering up to 35ft tall.
- “Green-Talks” on March 25: Come and join the debate. The “Green-Talks” are a day-long opportunity to engage with noted speakers discussing the Indian River Lagoon and other environmental issues.
“We’re pleased to have the Art of Sustainability event returning this year to highlight our environmental assets here in Palm Bay,” said Palm Bay Mayor William Capote. “Using beautiful, moving kinetic sculptures loaned by internationally-known artists will help attract the community to engage with us regarding important issues tied to the health of the Indian River Lagoon and other important environmentally-related issues facing our area.”

This kinetic is beautiful large-scale sculptures which move in response to the environment - encouraging us to think about environmental issues.
